My Blogging Mistake(s)
I am a relatively late entrant to this blogging revolution. This is my first blog and I started sometime in the 3rd quarter 2006. As soon as I heard about it, I immediately went ahead and got my own sub-domain in Blogger. In those initial days, I really didn't know what to write, and I started inserted pictures and videos in my blog. But nowadays, writing about a topic is not at all a problem for me.
Coming to the main topic, I have my own share of blogging mistakes. The most important one that I could think of, is not commenting enough on other people's blogs. I do make a comment, but usually its in the ratio of 1:100. I guess I am a consumer of news mostly. But lately, I wanted to change all that, and I started commenting on other people's blog. I have started commenting on a few and slowly I am growing my daily numbers now. Some other mistakes are not branding your blog by having your own domain, not running spell checks before pushing that button etc. I guess its a learning process, and hopefully things should improve in the future.

Leaving comments is an important part of interacting with the reader . Glad to know that you have realized it now .
Commenting on other blogs makes you part of the conversation, it is fun and it can bring you loyal readers or even friends.
I have to agree with you. However, it seems to be a universal mistake. I think very few people take the time to leave a comment.
